National flags in Jaffna to celebrate Eastern Reawakening

National flags were seen hoisted in many places in Jaffna yesterday, to celebrate the liberation of East from the LTTE.
National scale celebrations were held in Colombo, under the patronage of President Rajapakse and National flags were hoisted at government offices in Jaffna. Although Tiger leader Prabakaran said in November 2005, that he was at the brim of endurance and vowed on 11th August 2006 to take control of Jaffna peninsula within three days, nothing has been fruitful, but only National flags could be seen in many places of Jaffna yesterday, said sources from Jaffna.
