Colombo indices down, slight recovery seen next week

 Colombo stocks saw another dismal performance on thin turnover (Rs 75 million) on Friday but analysts said this trend (on since last week) may break on Monday with some marginal gains.

“There was a bit of retail buying during the morning, but this did not help lift the indices. Monday may see a slight recovery,” a stock analyst said.

The All Share Index lost 41.9 points to 1,669.88 while the Milanka dipped by 56.95 points to 1,870.26 at stock market close.
